Summer of CSA: Homemade Pizza
We’re deep into the summer and the CSA rages on. But truthfully, I’m starting to get a bit fatigued with all the lettuce and squash of late. Envisioning a great panoply of summer veggies, the offering has (so far at least) seemed a little limited. On the bright side, this has forced me to be more creative in terms of veggie utilization. This week, I whipped up some homemade pizzas using squash, tomatoes, basil, spinach, and garlic. I just had to supplement with fresh mozzarella and of course, dough (thanks to my local pizza man).

Pizza #2: Summer Squash and Perpetual Spinach

And what to do with that leftover dough? Zeppole!
